Exploring L'affare's New Coffee Flavours Through an Abstract Multi-Sensory Journey
Silk Design were engaged by our client Storybox and creative agency Eighty One to develop, visualise and ultimately fabricate the unique journey that guests would go on to experience premium coffee brand L'affare's two new coffee flavours: Amp'd Fruit and Sweet Velvet.
Our creative design process expanded on the concepts put forward to us and involved input across the full client experience; from mode of transport to deliver the guests to their secret venue through to venue selection, 3D visualisation and full fabrication of the event.
The journeys were designed to be an immersive and interactive experience, allowing guests to engage with their surroundings and explore the two new flavours in an exciting and unforgettable way.
The end result was an abstract multi-sensory journey, enveloping guests into the worlds of Sweet Velvet and Amp’d Fruit, which served to heighten the senses for an exclusive tasting session to round off the whole experience.
Those bold enough to “Embrace the Unknown” were treated to an unforgettable experience. Guests entered two bespoke chambers built inside of the L'affare factory itself and were taken on two journeys that physically embodied the flavours of both new coffee flavours.
The Sweet Velvet chamber enveloped guests in a furry orange womb with hidden cubby holes holding tactile surprises and an actor fully suited in a matching fur onesie. A warm atmosphere was created with light projection onto the ceiling from our friends at Metro Productions adding the finishing touches to the environment.
The Amp'd Fruit chamber was designed to expand guests minds; a full angled mirrored room with patterend floor and ceiling created infiniate reflections while a central lighting column illumanted the space in syncronicity with a bespoke sound track. The design succeeded in providing a stimulating and energising experience for guests.
